Gearmotors
Before placing order for
Kenta or Elco gear motor parts, one must have correct model of
the machine and accurate description of gears. The
must be identified by their location (1st, 2nd 3rd
or fourth), by their manufacturer (Kenta or Elco) and by the
make of the machine they are used in.
One should not attempt to
fix gearmotors before without proper tools
and correct identification of the
gears
The components in Elco
& Kenta gearmotors are different.
Please identify correctly before ordering
parts.
Difference between Kenta
& Elco gears is explained in the following:
1- Kenta gears do not have
center pins and bearings.
2- Elco gears have ball bearings pressed-on,
one on either side.
3-
Kenta Gear box gasket is a large O-ring type. Elco
gear box gasket is a flat cork gasket with a cut on the
top. Compare the pictures below for for proper
identification.

When ordering Kenta gears for Elmeco gear motor,
please
note:
1-The Elmeco model 1st Class is triangle in
shape with only 3
gears 2- The 1st gear
(smaller of the the 3 gears) is usable only for 1st
class 3- The 1st gear in larger size is
used in all other Kenta gear motors.
